Hi there! I’m Jeremy, the co-founder of NextSlide. I created this tool because I knew that if I was struggling with this problem, others likely were too.

Here’s the story: I work in live production and was running a large virtual event with over 25 presenters spread across multiple days. Many sessions involved panels of presenters sharing the same slide deck. If you’ve ever managed events like this, you know the drill. Typically, everyone sends their deck to one person, who then shares their screen and advances the slides. It works, but you end up hearing the same phrase over and over again:

“NEXT SLIDE.”

It drove our presenters crazy. It frustrated our audience. And it was driving us nuts. We looked everywhere for a solution, but nothing met our needs. Frustrating, right?

Then, after the last session, the solution hit me just as I was about to fall asleep. I jumped out of bed, grabbed my laptop, and spent the next 90 minutes sketching out the workflow and rough mockups for what would become NextSlide. The next day, I shared the idea with my developer brother-in-law, Josh, and he was thrilled—he’d been dealing with the same issue at his job. We talked to a few other colleagues, and they all had the same struggles.

So, we decided to go for it! Our initial test launch received great feedback. We took that input, added some new ideas, and relaunched with even better features—and we’re not stopping there.
