I built NextSlide because I got tired of hearing "next slide."

Hi - I'm Jeremy, the founder of NextSlide.

I work in live production. A few years back I was running a large virtual event - more than 25 presenters across several days, with panel after panel sharing one slide presentation. If you've run events like that, you know the drill: everyone sends their slides to one person, who screenshares and drives the presentation for the whole room. It works, barely - and you hear the same phrase all day long.

"Next slide."

It drove the presenters crazy. It frustrated the audience. It wore all of us out. I looked everywhere for something better and found nothing that fit.

Then, the night after the last session, the idea hit me as I was falling asleep. I grabbed my laptop and spent the next ninety minutes sketching the workflow that became NextSlide. The first version went out to a handful of colleagues who'd felt the exact same pain - and the feedback was immediate. I've been refining it ever since.

And I didn't get here alone - my co-founder Josh helped build those early versions, and NextSlide wouldn't exist without him.
