Upload and share your first presentation with NextSlide
This guide walks you through uploading a presentation, generating presenter links, sharing those links, and presenting live.
1. Upload your presentation
Click the New Presentation button in the dashboard, then drag your file into the upload window or click to choose one. Pay attention to the tips in the upload window - they help your presentation look its best and process quickly. Processing usually takes a minute or two; when the thumbnail appears, click the title to open it.
2. Open your presentation
Click the title and you'll land in the studio, where you can control the presentation, replace or delete the file, edit its details, and create and manage links and passwords.
3. Create and share presenter links
Click the three-dot menu at the top right and select Share. Copy the presenter link and send it to your co-presenters by email or text - everyone uses the same link, and everyone shares control. You can toggle password protection on or off, and delete or recreate links at any time; anyone on an old link loses access immediately.
4. Drive it from a phone, laptop, or tablet
Presenters can use a phone as a clicker, or open the presenter view on a laptop, desktop, or tablet for a larger interface. Wherever they open it, they see their notes and slides in sync while they drive - and every screen follows.
5. Add confidence monitors (optional)
Add a slides or notes view to any device or screen your presenter can see - the current slide, the next slide, or their notes, always in sync. Copy the view's link from the same share menu, open it on the device, and switch to full screen. A tablet is especially handy for someone on stage. 6. Show the slides to your audience
Two paths, depending on where your audience is:
Screenshare in a meeting. The best method: open the active-slide view full screen and share that window in Zoom, Teams, or any meeting app - your audience sees only the clean slide, while you and your co-presenters keep control (and your notes) on your own devices.
