Keep your powerpoint fonts and layouts intact with zip uploads in NextSlide
Overview
Want to make sure your presentations looks exactly the same as the way you made them? Normally the NextSlide conversion process will handle things just fine, but sometimes fonts or other items may not render correctly. This process will work with both Powerpoint and Keynote.
Here’s how you can do it:
- Open your presentation
- Export your slides as PNG Images and put them in a folder
- Put your .ppt in the same folder as the images: If you are using keynote, export as .ppt and put the ppt in the same folder as the images
- Compress the folder as a .zip file
- Upload the .zip to NextSlide
NextSlide will process the zip file like any other presentation and it will show up in your dash in a few moments. Because you converted the presentation into images on your machine, all your fonts and layout will be perfectly preserved.
01 - Export your slides as PNG Images and put them in a folder
02 - Put your .ppt in the same folder as the images
When you export your images, they should all go into a single folder together. Put your .ppt or .pptx in the same folder as the images.
If you are in keynote, do another export, but this time instead of export as images, export as powerpoint, and place the .ppt pr .pptx in the same folder as the images
